FAQ

  • The therapists at Thrive and Feel are not in-network providers.

We are out-of-network providers for most insurance companies. If your insurance provider reimburses for out-of-network services, our therapists are able to give you a “superbill” that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Please check with your insurance company to determine if you have out-of-network coverage.

If you have more questions about this, feel free to contact us.

  • Therapy

    • The fee per session depends on the therapist you are working with. Individual therapy session fees range from $150 - $275 per session.

    • All therapists can provide a “superbill” for reimbursement. We also have a few sliding scale spots - please contact us to discuss a sliding scale rate.

    Assessment and Neuropsychological Testing

    • Testing fees vary based on the scope of the assessment - they can range from $2,500 to over $6000.

    • Please schedule a consultation call so that an evaluator can help you understand the cost of your assessment based on your goals.

    • We provide superbills for psychological testing that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. If you're unsure what your plan covers, we can help guide you through the questions to ask.

  • Contact your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.

It is helpful to gain additional information while on that call, including:

    • Your deductible for out-of-network services

    • How many visits you get per year

    • If you need authorization for your visits

    • The process of submitting a superbill

  • I get it. It’s anxiety-inducing to start with a new therapist OR to begin the therapeutic process for the first time. You are not alone in that feeling. As your therapist, I will create space in our sessions to process these fears. It can be scary to think of opening up or crying in front of someone new, especially if you have shame around feeling your feelings.

It takes courage to get the help you need.

Therapy is a space where you can be yourself and bring all of the feelings you may have into session, including feeling nervous. I’m committed to finding a way to care for your fear and ensure sessions are as comfortable as possible.

I’m here if you want to talk about it during a free phone consultation.
